Two new containers were delivered to the railway on 19 May. They will replace the now badly  corroded 40 foot container that has been at the railway for nearly as long as the railway has existed.  It is now just a task of transferring the contents of the old container to the new one, and chopping up the old one. below is a picture of the new containers being delivered.

The Belfast and County Down Miniature Railway Society (B&CDMRS) is a society of enthusiastic volunteers, that has built and run Drumawhey Junction Railway. The  7.25" gauge railway is about 1500m long, and has so far been the product of 14 years hard work. The railway is open to the public on over 40 days a year so that we can share with our visitors our proud creation. To learn more about the society and our history, click here
